Tizkor - Jewish Reminders

A bit of history

2007: A beta test is started which includes a small group of individuals. 9:30pm is chosen as the default time as it just so happens to coincide with the time that our developer davened Maariv each night!

2008: The official launch of our Omer reminders!

2009: We launched our automated Twitter accounts as well. We also started this website (it looked a lot different back then)

2011: We launched our mobile app for Android

2019: Our slightly refreshed site is launched. We also added the ability to send our reminders at customizable times.

About the name

Tizkor is the hebrew transliterated equivalent of (תזכור) which means to "remember".
